Evergreen/Keeping Pace presentations at the iNACOL symposium next week
The Evergreen team will present several times at the iNACOL Blended and Online Learning Symposium in Orlando next week, and we hope you'll be able to join us for one or more sessions. The 2015 annual Keeping Pace report will be released at the Symposium. Evergreen researchers will present findings at 9:45am on Monday, November 9, and then we will have a discussion about report findings, the general state of digital learning, and some important myths and realities at 2:05pm.
Also on Monday, at 3:50pm we will facilitate a discussion on credit recovery, which will include Florida Virtual School, Putnam County, Spokane Public Schools, and Chicago Public Schools.
On Tuesday at 11:15am we will discuss accountability systems for online schools in a session with the Arizona Department of Education, Trio Wolf Creek Charter school in Minnesota, and Connections Academy.
On Wednesday at 10am we will present findings from our Proof Points research with representatives from most of the schools that the research profiled.
All sessions will have a focus on discussion with attendees, so please come with your thoughts, comments, and questions.

As some regular readers have noted, it's been awhile since we've run a new blog post, as we have been consumed by a variety of tasks. But the downtime means that we have a pretty long backlog of posts that we will be running soon, including exploring the recent OECD report on the link between the use of computers and academic outcomes, the CREDO/Mathematica/CRPE report, delving into our Proof Points research with the Christensen Institute, and findings from the new Keeping Pace report. Stay tuned for posts on these and other topics!
